What sets LLF apart from other sites?

    • Community, community, community! It’s the number one thing that sets us apart from the others. There are a lot of membership sites out there, but none that offer as great a sense of community that revolves around your passions and pursuits. Whether that’s in the Arts, Sports/Fitness, Business/Entrepreneurship, Music, or Uniformed Services, there’s a community for it. We offer a robust set of features that will enhance your community experience like no other. 

Is membership free?

  • Yes, joining LLF is free and always will be. In the future we may offer some paid options to further enhance your experience, but we will never lock you out of any features.


When will the final version of LLF be released?

  • The site will be in lengthy BETA as we continue to test and tailor the site to its best possible form. We will keep members updated about our site’s progression through our Blog and Support group. But don’t let the word BETA scare you away, the site is still very much live and running and early adopters will gain many perks in the future.

How do I get in contact with LLF?

  • There are a number of ways to get in contact with us:
    • If you’re a member you can send the Admin a message directly, @llfofficial, or post an update in the Support group.
    • Anyone can send us a message through our Contact Us page.
    • We can also be reached through our various other accounts on many of the other popular online platforms.

How do I become a Spotlight feature?

  • There are a number of ways to become a Spotlight feature:
    • We regularly find and reach out to Brands, Musicians, & Artists that we feel represent the living.life.fearless mentality.
    • Become an active member of the community and we’ll find you.
    • Send us an inquiry with a brief description why you should be a Spotlight feature through our Contact Us page or our various Spotlight pages.

How do I get featured?

  • Easy; become an active member of the community and we’ll find you.

 

PROFILE FAQ’S

How do I change my profile picture?

  • Navigate to “My Account” on your user bar > “Profile” > “Change Avatar”
  • “Choose File” > select your desired image > “Upload Image”
  • Adjust selection area > “Crop Image”

How do I edit my profile?

  • Navigate to “My Account” on your user bar > “Profile” > “Edit”
  • Fill in data fields as prompted
  • Only enter your Twitter username. No @ symbol or http://www.twitter.com/
  • Use full url’s for all other website links

How do I join a group?

  • Navigate to “Groups” on the site menu > ‘click’ on or ‘hover’ over “Group Avatar” > ‘click’ “Join Group”
  • Start posting

How do I follow other members?

  • Discover other members in a variety of ways:
    • “Groups” > “Members”
    • “Community” tab on site menu
    • Pages under “Community” tab > “Advanced Search”
  • ‘Click’ “Follow” on member directory pages or member profiles

How do I post an update?

  • Navigate to “My Account” > “Activity” > “Your Stream”
  • ‘Click’ in status box > type message
  • (Optional) Add location in top right of status box
  • (Optional) Add photos/videos/links from bottom buttons
  • (Optional) Post to Twitter/Linkedin/Facebook from bottom buttons
  • ‘Click’ “Post Update”

How do I send invites to join living.life.fearless?

  • Personal
    • Navigate to “My Accounts” > “Send Invites” > “Invite New Members”
    • Enter friends’ email addresses
    • (Optional) Customize subject line/text of message
    • (Optional) Select groups to invite them into
    • ‘Click’ “Send Invites”
  • Groups
    • ‘Click’ “Groups” from site menu > select desired group > “Send Invites”
    • Search for members or select members from list > “Send Invites”

Why is my Twitter button not displaying correctly?

  • The most common reason that members’ Twitter buttons don’t display correctly is because they most likely added an @ symbol in their Twitter profile field or used the entire URL. Check your profile and ensure that you have entered your username and nothing else.

What are social albums?

  • Social albums are the media items imported from your other social accounts that you have synched with your profile here. For example, any videos you upload or favorite on Youtube or Vimeo will be pulled into their separate album under you social album tab.

What are projects?

  • Projects can be anything that you are currently working on and want to share with the community. For example, a new clothing line or an art portfolio, or anything you can think of.
    • All projects will be added to a directory listing on the site.

How do I create a project?

  • Creating projects are easy; all you have to do is go to your “Projects” tab on your profile page and “Add.” Give it a title, URL to the project, short description, and upload an image for it.
    • *Important* All url’s must be valid.

How do I create an event?

  • Navigate to “Events” > “My Events” > “Add New”
  • Fill in the information fields as fully as you can and click “Submit Event.”
    • All events submitted must be approved first and you will be notified when and if the event gets approved. (We may or may not tell you why an event wasn’t approved)
    • An event can be added to multiple categories by ctrl + clicking multiple items
    • Event details can be styled by using some simple html coding; some great tutorial can be found HERE
    • Any event that is longer than a month will be changed into a recurring monthly event 

How do I interact with other members?

  • There are a number of ways to interact with other members:
    • @ mention them in an update
    • Send them a direct message (Only if you’re following them)
    • Comment, like, or favorite their posts either through your stream or a group’s streams

How do I become a certified member?

  • Occasionally we add a “Certified Member” badge to users’ profile pages to show that they are officially endorsed by the LLF community and staff and are official users. There are a number of ways to qualify as one:
    • Become a Spotlight feature.
    • Become a featured member or work.
    • Stay active on LLF and we’ll find you.
    • Send us a brief message through our Contact Us page telling us why you deserve to be a Certified Member.

 

SYNCH FAQ’S

How do I synch with my other accounts?

  • Navigate to “Settings” in your user bar, choose the network you’re looking to connect with and follow the simple steps provided. 

How does filtering work?

  • Filters are a way to decide which of your updates will be imported or excluded 
  • Only Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Tumblr & Google + will require filters.
    • *Important* All updates that require a filter must have #llf in the update to get imported.

How do I post to my other accounts?

  • Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Tumblr & Linkedin will allow you to post to your accounts 
    • To post to these accounts write your update and before posting it select which accounts it will go to by selecting their respective buttons located under the status box.
