MLK Day

January 16, 2012 in Holidays by ArtistDWalker

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and so today I decided to write about what that means to me. MLK Day marks the celebration of a man who dedicated his life to making others lives better. The battles he fought, and the non-violent manner in which he fought them changed America forever and gave people hope all around the world.

Like many other people in the world, I have a tendency to be Lazy.
…or is that just me?

For those of us who do tend to be Lazy, getting out of this habit can be hard, and has proven on more than one occasion to cause more problems than solutions. Some would argue that there is no reason for being lazy at all, but I beg to differ. There may not be good reasons for laziness but there are definitely reasons. I’ve noticed that I think too hard about a situations level of convenience and/or uncertainty of something new, so even if I know I have to do it I still wait…
